Just thought I would let you know that there is a short body Gavin for sale on TDS. Not sure if it's HDPE or PVC though...

Thanks Chantelle. One of the locals down this way is working a deal. Hope it works out for him.

well I am close to needing to vacuum test the backend of my scooter. So I need a little info now. What do you vacuum test the backend too ? I dont know what the unti of measure would be? Pressure?

John,

Pull a vacuum between 10 and 20 in Hg. This is a unit of pressure: 1 in Hg is approximately 0.5 psi.

Cheers,
Jason.

I'm going to buy some resistors tomorrow (from Milwaukee Resistor) for my burn tester. It looks like it will be about $40 for both resistors and the bracket. Add the wiring and the socket and the total cost is looking like $50.

If anyone else is interested, let me know and I can add it to my order.

I've had the pleasure of seing some of the course material for the GUE DPV1
course. It is well done and has lots of information on DPV's as well as indepth gas and power management in regards to dive planning for non scooter dependant dives or overhead(caves). The DPV2 course will cover cave and overhead scooter diving. I am studying the REC program as well. It will be an FUN year for sure!

It's going to be trigger time soon!:-) and by the looks of it, they'll be many scooters in the water this year.

Stay safe Ontario :-)

Steve
